Well my Goodness -What a day!*:**
my P.C. laptop ran out of gas in the middle of some work I was doing in word- when I recharged it - it wouldn't let me log in - I tried for hours but to no avail.  The only way I can get into it is to reboot it from scratch and lose all my saved data which includes all my work since the beginning of January (when I bought it to replace my old one that had decided to need a new screen, in order for me to see what was  there - no light to it ) lost all the work off that one too! Luckily I have some of the work on a couple of flash drives some on my mac. and I can rephotograph some of it from my sketch book and the original pieces, but time is running out fast.  it also took with it my CS Presentation that I had almost completed for next weeks slots. I'll have to do it again which will eat into my time left of this module.
I'll get down to my proper blogline input tomorrow when I have destressed a little.

bye for now!

EVNIN ALL!
here is a site I would like to use to display one of my luminous window pieces. This is the stairwell within the college that descends to the basement/studio theatre. I think it would look good with the light filtering through from the outside during the day and the light filtering out of the college in the evening when it is dark. My audiences inside would consist of students, staff and visitors to the college and also, outside my audience would be passers by, people at the bus stop, people on the bus and the general public at large.

Good morning!
Pondering where to go next with my work.  This image is the one I am working with at the moment.  It is saved at size 58x82 cm.  I don't know whether to have it printed out on to acetate or light reflective paper.  I have made a light box which i can use to display it with either material or place it in a window if I use the acetate.  i would have to adjust its size in relation to the window size.  I could make a set of images and make a frame with a grid? and place the images in the spaces? Tried to download diagram of what I mean -the scanners gone on strike -I'll try again later

Hi again!
More galleries!
this one is the one at St James in the new Oncology Building- Bexley Wing. We are using this for our exhibition space. Went up to look at it on Thursday. The area is very light and airy. It is in the main central core of the entrance level at the back of the building. It is fairly well used - plenty of Persons walking by. The space consists of one long wall that has a square insert that intrupts into the wall making a 3-1 ratio of viewing space. (see enclosed pictures). The contents of the exhibition has some limitations on what is allowed to be hung and displayed. This is because of the nature of the building and the persons who are visiting its space. I think my present work is a bit dark for this particular environment. I maybe will have something with a bit lighter content in time for the show hopefully.

STASS PARAKOS

Went to Vernon Street to buy some perspex for my light box and came across his exhibition. I was very impressed with it. the pictures were very bright and really stood out against the white wall background. Considering I am very fond of Byzantine Art and also Gauguin's paintings which have influenced his work I gave the exhibition more than a passing glance of my attention.
The gallery space was the central part of the building - with the main staircases and walkways within it (very busy area). the work was strong enough to dominate some attention. I wouldn't mind some of my work being exhibited in the same way. The main staircase in BW is another spot I wouldn't refuse either!
more soon!
